VT-400
The VT 400 is the winner of the editors choice award for 3 years in a row partially because of the greatness of this machine but also because of good customer service. This machine is the new spiral technology and has 2 dc motors. DC motors are the preferred motors for these types of machines as they are low emf and very smooth. Also they are brushless. The motors that have brushes tend to wear out faster as the brushes get compressed when using them. Brushless do not have this problem and go for a really long time very durable. This model has a 500 watt dc motor for the oscillating motion and a 300 watt DC motor for the pivotal motion. It has a 24 inch by 27 inch platform and can hold up to 380 lbs. It also comes with exercise bands for your upper body and is on wheels when you tilt it back so you can easily move it across the floor. As of 2017, the new DVD has been complete that walks you through how to use the machine to its full ability. It also has a booklet apoprox 84 pages to walk you through how to use the machine. This is one of my favorite spiral machines. Top 3 for sure.
VT-500
Much like the VT 400 but twice the power!. Besides The larger platform of 26 by 30 inches it also has the 2 dc motors but this time theirs more power. This one was designed with 1,000 watt dc commercial grade motor and a second motor which is 500 watt dc commercial grade. Again both are also brushless and has a weight capacity of 440 lbs. The motor speeds now can be turned up with a dial as opposed to the vt 400 where you needed to push buttons to raise and lower the speeds. This one will also come with exercise straps for your upper body, the dvd , and the 84 page instruction booklet to walk you thru how to use this machine. This unit is approx. $600.00 more then the vt 400 but with the extra power of the motor and the other ad ons I would say it is definitely worth it. If on a tighter budget the vt 400 is also an excellent choice.
The VT-500 and VT-400 both are great whole body vibration machines for those with knee weakness, detoxification issues (or those looking for lymph drainage), low bone density (looking to improve the bone density) and back/joint problems. Overall, they are well-suited for most people looking for pivotal exercises. I recommend Vibra Trim machines whole heartedly as some of the very best , in terms of price and overall user experience.
Besides the VT-500 and VT-400 I was also very impressed with their Mini. This is one of the few portable machines that has a lot of power. One of the biggest problems with getting a portable unit is they are not very strong and are usually only good for massage and circulation. With the Mini you have 2 very powerful DC motors which makes this a true portable spiral machine. It is an upgrade of the former VT 202+1 and has as dual motor of 1,000 and 500 watts. That makes it exceptionally strong in its class.
