VMax Trio 2
VMax is well known in Canada as one of the top producers of Vibration Machines. Their break away star was the Trio about 3 years ago. This was one the the first tri-motion machines that was able to hold a high weight capacity and be used in a commercial setting. I have sold many of these to chiropractors over the years because of it spiral motion and ability to hold well over 400 lbs. In using the spiral motion you can get a deep vibration but with the platform moving in a circular motion you can do this without putting harsh impact on the body. This is why this motion is one of my favorites among all the different machines out there. Their current model is Trio 2.
The platform is 20 inches by 27 inches and can produce between 6 and 50 hertz which is great to cover all the different benefits these machines are capable of. Most machines without this spiral technology will give you a range of either 6 to 18 hertz oscillating, or 20 to 42 hertz spiral and 20 to 50 Hz dual vibration, you get them all in one machine. Excellent all around machine. There are many similarities and differences with the Vibra Trim though, that I have found.
Both the VMax Fitness machines, namely the Trio 2 and the Duo, will have a steel base, vertical support tubes, and 3 inbuilt preset vibration exercise programs. The base is slightly lower in the Duo compared to the Trio 2. Further, you could add your custom program to these machines to get vibration as per your personalized requirements.
VMax Pulsar 2
The next generation of this machine produced by VMax is the Pulsar 2. It incorporates all the benefits of the Trio 2 but now has a larger platform, the display is really cool and you can turn up the speed with a dial instead of pushing the buttons up and down. This gives you the ability to alter the speeds a lot smoother. The larger platform has also been adjusted from the Trio 2 model which gives you a smoother all around feeling. Between the two they are both great models and you cant go wrong with either one. If the extra $495.00 for the pulsar 2 model does not effect you then go for the pulsar 2 for sure. I personally have had a Trio (the predecessor of Trio 2) for a few years and love it! I have used both machines a lot and if had a fresh choice I would get the pulsar 2 but in owning the Trio 2 don't feel the need to go and swap it out for the other model. Benefits wise both will be similar. The Pulsar 2 platform size is 26 inches by 30 inches so it gives you some more room if you want to do some push ups or dips on it or even some yoga positions.
VMax Q5
Q5 Portable This is one of the best portable units available today. The reason portable units lack attention from me is because they usually are just that. Portable vibrating platforms that are good for some lymphatic drainage and some blood circulation. If this is what your looking for I would not sell this to you. I would recommend you go online and look up a product called the chi machine. It's a portable unit you put your ankles in while laying down and it shifts your legs back and forth and feels great. The Q5 is much more then this. This portable machine has been created with 2 motors! It is a true spiral dual motor machine built to be portable or for those who don't have a lot of room in their place and want something they can store in the closet or under the bed. Now it is not quite as strong as a Trio 2 or Pulser 2 or other stand up models that are larger but for a portable unit its awesome. You will get benefits of being able to work out with this model lymph drainage and most of the other benefits you get on the larger units. The best way to describe what you will lose by choosing this over one of the bigger units would be what you can do on a Trio 2 in 10 minutes would probably take you 15 to 20 minutes to do on the Q5. They will both get you their but with just some extra time on the smaller unit.
